I Can't Stop Lovin' You (053)

I love the way Ray Charles sang I Can't Stop Lovin' You. I just can't top the original lyrics which were written by Don Gibson in 1962. But, if I had written the lyrics they might've gone somethin' like this .....

♫ ♫♫ ♫ ♫♫ ♫ ♫♫

I can't stop lovin' you,
Not after all these years,
All the moments we've shared,
All the smiles and the tears.

Now, try as I have,
'Can't get over losin' you.
No hon, I just can't,
Not after all we've been through.

I can't stop wantin' you,
Not after all this time.
Now that you've gone away,
And you're no longer mine.

All my friends have said
My poor heart will be alright,
But I can't tell you
How lonesome I am tonight!

I can't stop lovin' you,
Not after all these years,
All the moments we've shared,
All the smiles and the tears.

Oh yeah ...

All the moments we've shared,
All the smiles and the tears.

Oh, if I had only gotten to Ray Charles with my lyrics before Don Gibson did!
