On Kentucky Lake.

'Got my coffee

'Packed me a lunch
And iced down some beer.

Buds are sayin'
The fish are spawnin'.
I'm on my way;
'Gonna catch me some.

Mansard Island,
My destination.
Year after year,
Our spring reunion.

'Got my jiggin' pole
And chartreuse jigs.
'Gotta buy minnows,
Some crappie rigs.

Oh yeah ...

I'm goin' fishin'
With my buddies.
We're gonna catch some
Two-pound crappie.

Oh yeah, my friends ...

With my good buddies.
'Gonna catch a bunch of
Two-pound crappie.
